A shout out to all the women taking on male power. Women are
still denied priest or minister status in some churches. Too bad! They have
good ideas and many things to add to all discussions. This article was directed
from the Catholic church. I think it's time to change. But power will never
give easily. Why yes! There is a "vocations" crisis. It will only get
worse until the men (usually old and white) in power realize the ladies have
the same fire of Christ dwelling in them. These same ladies should not allow a
bare hand at communion, to stop or squash their efforts. Not many will want to
join the church when they learn how women who went to speak Christ were
treated. Women are the equal—oh how far we've come—how far we have to go.
